NEW WEBSITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION. CHECK BACK SOON FOR A LINK! Miss SouthCentral Michigan is an open preliminary pageant for Miss Michigan and a local affiliate of the Miss America Organization. The Miss America Organization is the leading scholarship provider for young women, offering over $45,000,000 on the local, state and national level last year! On August 12, Elyse Losen was crowned our second ever Miss SouthCentral Michigan! As part of her year of service as our titleholder, she will represent Miss South Central Michigan in June of 2012 at the Miss Michigan pageant in Muskegon. At Miss SouthCentral Michigan, we believe it is very important to spend time mentoring the young ladies in our state; so, as well as our Miss pageant, we host an annual Outstanding Teen pageant! As a result of this year's competition, Alyssa Veliquette was chosen as our new Miss SouthCentral Michigan's Outstanding Teen 2011! She has the option to compete alongside Elyse in Muskegon at the Miss Michigan's Outsanding Teen pageant this June. |
